Mother Toddler Classes:
The Mother Toddler curriculum is based on the belief that children learn best through active and engaging sensory experiences. This class allows children (and parents) to gradually separate at their own pace. Nurturing teachers guide children through activities such as music, art, gym, movement, exploration of nature, imaginative play, story time and group snack. Preparing kids safely and confidently for their first preschool experience.
Play Group
Toddlerhood is a time when children begin to develop relationships with others and develop a lifelong love of learning. This educational approach allows lots of direct, hands-on experiences with people, objects, and events. We provide endless opportunities for toddlers to learn and play in an inviting, age-appropriate, and safe environment. We also encourage children to explore and discover while supporting their growing independence.
Nursery
Our program is designed to learn through play while encouraging (and noticing) individual interests. By promoting independence and developing an emerging awareness of social behavior, we help young learners expand their world beyond the home to the school community. Teachers support growing independence by providing opportunities for classroom jobs: putting things away, pouring milk, washing hands, and choosing materials and activities during center time. Many opportunities are provided to increase a child’s ability to communicate by developing active listening and expressive language skills.
6 months and above
Daycare
Scribblers provides an enriched and nurturing environment for babies as young as 6 months. At age of 6 months old, children sleep and eat on their own schedule. Our loving caregivers make sure your child’s awake time is spent out of the crib where stretching, pushing and pulling, sights and sounds, cuddling and touching help them learn about their bodies and their world. We ensure that your child’s experience at Scrriblers is secure, attentive and loving.Parents are always welcome to visit their babies and to call us at any time to check in.Daily care records are maintained for each baby and regularly sent home with parents.
Walking, talking, socializing, alternating between independence and dependence, curiosity and lots of energy are the marks of toddlers. This age group is often messy as they learn to feed themselves, use the potty, and indulge their artistic creativity - all things we celebrate and encourage at Scribblers. We help young toddlers learn boundaries and control without discouraging their innate love of life.
